Heavy duty plug-in solar ground mount

Heavy duty ground plug-in solar mount for full-size panels.

A premium adjustable ground mounting system designed around UK plug-in solar installations, full-size landscape panels and modern microinverter-based solar setups.

Built using galvanised steel with industrial style construction, this ground mount is designed for customers who want a strong long-term solar mounting system rather than a lightweight temporary frame.

Typical application Designed for modern plug-in solar systems
Panel size Full-size landscape panels up to around 1200mm wide
Adjustable angle Typically adjustable between 25° and 40°
Starting price From £220 depending on options

Built for practical everyday plug-in solar use.

Many low-cost solar panel stands feel lightweight, temporary or designed for occasional use. This system was designed around a different idea: a heavy duty adjustable ground frame that feels solid enough to last alongside the solar panel itself.

The frame is aimed at full-size modern solar panels, microinverter-based plug-in solar setups and smaller domestic generation systems where a roof installation is not the right option.

Each frame is prepared before shipping with sections cut to length to reduce assembly work on site, while still allowing practical options for different surfaces and mounting locations.

Ground mount prices from £220

The heavy duty ground mount starts from £220 for a basic prepared frame, depending on the panel size, foot option, wheel option, fixing method and whether any custom changes are needed.

Options for patios, gardens, grass, gravel and flat roof areas
Final price depends on selected feet, wheels and custom requirements
Ground plug-in solar mount adjustable rubber feet
Adjustable rubber feet are ideal for patios, paving and slightly uneven ground.

Adjustable feet for uneven ground.

The adjustable rubber foot option is designed for installations where the surface is not perfectly level.

This makes the system suitable for patios, paving, garden areas and slightly uneven surfaces where small adjustments are needed to level the frame correctly.

The frame angle is typically adjustable between around 25° and 40° for UK conditions, although custom angles may also be possible depending on the installation.

  • Suitable for patios, paving and garden areas
  • Helps level the frame on uneven surfaces
  • Adjustable tilt angle for UK solar conditions
  • Designed around full-size landscape solar panels
  • Suitable for microinverter-based plug-in solar systems

Large rubber pads for ballast and exposed locations.

The large rubber pad option is designed for installations where additional grip and surface contact are important, especially in more exposed areas.

The structure can also be weighted using suitable ballast such as concrete blocks or paving slabs depending on the installation location, roof structure and wind exposure.

This makes the system useful for flat roofs, gravel areas, patios and other locations where fixed penetrations may not be wanted.

  • Large rubber pad option for added grip
  • Can be used with suitable ballast where required
  • Useful for flat roof and non-penetrating style setups
  • Designed for stronger, more permanent installations

Ground solar panel mount wheel option
Wheel option allows the frame to be repositioned more easily when needed.

Wheel option for movable solar setups.

The wheel option allows the frame to be repositioned more easily around patios, paved areas and outdoor spaces.

This can be useful where customers want a movable solar setup rather than a permanently fixed installation.

The wheels are intended to improve movement and practicality while still keeping the frame solid and stable during normal use.

  • Useful for patios and paved areas
  • Allows easier repositioning when needed
  • Ideal for customers who want a movable plug-in solar setup
  • Still based around a heavy duty steel frame

Designed around modern microinverter systems.

The frame is designed so a microinverter can mount neatly behind the solar panel within the structure itself.

This helps keep the installation tidy while keeping the inverter and cabling positioned close to the solar panel.

The design is aimed at modern plug-in solar style systems using full-size panels and microinverters, while still being suitable for more traditional fixed wiring approaches where appropriate.

Standard kits & custom options.

The main system is designed around standard modern full-size landscape solar panels, allowing complete ground mount kits to be prepared for straightforward assembly.

The aim is to offer a strong, premium mounting system for plug-in solar users who want something more substantial than a lightweight generic solar stand.

Standard kits are intended for common full-size panel sizes. Custom versions can also be produced for different panel dimensions, mounting locations, fixing methods and installation requirements.

  • Standard full-size landscape panel kits
  • Adjustable rubber foot versions
  • Large rubber pad and ballast-style versions
  • Wheel-mounted movable versions
  • Custom panel size options
  • Suitable for microinverter-based plug-in solar systems
